Foamular – Green Roof Garden Presentation
The application of Foamular in Green Roof garden systems was the highlight topic at a seminar presented to the Australian Institute of Architects, Newcastle branch, on the evening of February 23.
On the eve of February 23, Foamular Product Manager Mike Nagle passed on his knowledge concerning the environmental benefits of green roofs by using Foamular Insulation material to guarantee maximum energy efficiency in the structure of Green Roof Gardens. It proved to be an informative evening, as the assembled architects began to understand why Foamular continues to grow and distinguish itself as the chosen brand when it comes to Extruded Polystyrene Insulation.
The Chairman of the Newcastle Division, Australian Institute of Architects attended the event and was particularly impressed on the information offered about Foamular and insulation:
‘Mike provided an excellent presentation at the New Technologies in Building Products Seminar. It was very informative and provided both good background information on the Insulation industry as well as on specific Austech insulation products.’
Green roofs have been increasing in popularity in Australia over the past 10 years. Prominent business groups and Australian wide city councils have been dynamic in supporting the benefits of green roofs since 2008. Green roofs not only offer environmental advantages but also exhibit architectural brilliance and are physically captivating.
Green Roofs are just one of the many applications of the Extruded Polystyrene Foamular.
